H, '3Na and 3'P spin-lattice relaxation times and the 'H second moment of an amorphous sample of fructose 6-phosphate have been measured. The motional parameters of the water molecule have been extracted by employing a model in which the motions are characterized by a Gaussian distribution of correlation times.
