โฆ Synopsis
The indirect exchange interaction of localized spins in a semiconductor due to conduction electrons is calculated. It is alternating in sign, with an exponentially decreasing amplitude. The oscillation period and the decrement are defined trf the band structure of the host. Physical peculiarities are studied. Properties of one-dimensional semiconductor-based spin-glasses are considered. Results are compared with experimental data.
