β¦ Synopsis
LuRu4B 4 is superconducting below 2.1 K. Its normal-state specific heat contains a large contribution due to spin flucutations varying as T 3 In T. The Pauli susceptibility is enhanced; a T3-1ike contribution to the very-low-temperature specific heat seems to exist. The critical temperature is strongly reduced when the resistivity ratio decreases from 138 to 25. All these properties could be considered as evidences for triplet superconductivity.

We obtain the effective potential from a screened coulombian interaction considering separately the interaction between fermions with parallel and antiparallel spins. In both cases we analyze the possibility of obtaining superconductivity.
