## Abstract The spin‐lattice relaxation time (__T__~1~) of water adsorbed on collagen fibers was determined at six frequencies and temperatures varying from 25° to −80°C. Care was taken to eliminate the contributions to the signal of protons other than those in the adsorbed water. Quantitative calc

✦ Synopsis
The microscopic magnetic behavior of an incipient heavy-electron compound UAs (T N = 126 K) has been investigated by 75As NMR in the paramagnetic state up to 700 K. The T-dependence of the energy scale of the spin fluctuation indicates that the relative importance of the exchange interaction compared with the single-site dynamics in the moment relaxation increases from a similar compound UP to UAs.
