In this paper, a criterion for which the convex hull of is relatively compact is given when is a relatively compact subset of the space R p of fuzzy sets endowed with the Skorokhod topology. Also, some examples are given to illustrate the criterion.

โฆ Synopsis
This paper studies the approximation of fuzzy convex fuzzy sets in the sup metric d~. The approximation is in terms of combinations of elementary piecewise linear fuzzy sets. The efficiency of the procedures is compared with the theoretical complexity bounds. (~) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
