In Rhizoma Rhei Rhapontici (L.) wurde ein neues natiirliches rhapontizinahnliches Stilbenderivat gefunden. Die Struktur konnte mit Hilfe chemischer und spektroskopischer Methoden als ein Glucosid des 3,5-Dihydroxy-4'-methoxystilbens aufgekliirt werden.
