✦ Synopsis

A simple algorithm and its application are described to transform on-line raw spectra measured with a strongly asymmetric resolution function.

The transformed spectra correspond to resolutions freely chosen between the effective FWHM resolution of the spectrometer and that corresponding to the sharper edge of the resolution function.
