This paper reports on the absorption, visible and near-infrared luminescence properties of Nd 3+ , Er 3+ , Er 3+ /2Yb 3+ , and Tm 3+ doped oxyfluoride aluminosilicate glasses. From the measured absorption spectra, Judd-Ofelt (J-O) intensity parameters (O 2 , O 4 and O 6 ) have been calculated for al
