β¦ Synopsis
In a previous study of the hexagonal 12-layer perovskites Ba,B*rTeO, with Bt* = Ni and Zn, we observed a somewhat different X-ray powder diagram and infrared (ir.) spectrum for the cobalt compound.
In the present paper, we point out how vibrational spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction can be used to propose an ordered hexagonal six-layer perovskite structure for BarCoTeO,.
