✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The electron impact mass spectral fragmentation pathways for a series of 1,3‐di‐ and 1,2,3‐trisubstituted imidazolidines were investigated. The data show remarkable differences depending on the location and identity of substituents. The atypical 1,2,2,3‐tetrasubstituted imidazolidine, 2‐cyano‐1‐methyl‐3‐(p‐nitro‐phenyl)‐2‐phenylimidazolidine, was also investigated.

## Abstract Four tetrachlorinated bipbenyls were chlorinated with ^35^Cl~2~ to yield seventeen polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) substituted once or twice with chlorine enriched in ~35~Cl. Gas chromatographic analysis of the mixtures allowed the identification of the labelled PCBs produced by compar
