✦ Synopsis

Spectrometric Study of the Thermal Evolution of Mechanochemically Prepared Hydroxyapatitebased Powders

This study deals with the production of hydroxyapatite by a mechanochemical mcthod, especially following the transformations that are involved during thcir annealing when the physico-mcchanical conditions of synthcsis arc more or lcss strong. In particular the higher the reachcable crushing prcssure during synthesis, the lower the presence of spurious phosphates during sintering. The main structure-related parameters were evaluated as a function of annealing temperature, and possible interpretations given thoroughly.
