✦ Synopsis
New donor-acceptor (ETOEDT-PDT-TTF) 2 I 3 salt showing the layered structure was synthesized and spectrally characterized. It was shown that unsymmetrical (1,4-thioxane-2,3-diyldithio)-propylenedithiotetrathiafulvalene (ETOEDT-PDT-TTF) donor molecule with its extended shape and flexible form is a good system for salts preparation with numerous short contacts and strong intermolecular interactions. Both, Raman and infrared spectra of the donor and its iodine salt were analyzed and discussed. Important role of C@C vibrations was stressed.
