## Abstract We report experiments which involve a light sensitive GTPase in the light dependent activation of retinal rod 3′5′‐cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) phosphodiesterase (PDE). The data suggest that the light activated GTPase is intermediate between rhodopsin and PDE in the light‐depen
