✦ Synopsis

Abstract

We investigate theoretically and experimentally the spectral behavior of discrete 2D structures of finite size, made of microwave lines periodically interconnected by four‐port networks. Their spectral responses, including forbidden bands, are expressed analytically as functions of a reduced set of parameters, all related to the properties of a unit cell. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
