✦ Synopsis
The fluorescent complexes of 9-methoxyanthracene with protic solvents generated in a supersonic expansion have been investigated by means of the pump and probe hole-burning technique. These spectra allow to discriminate between different geometrical isomers and clusters and to give details on their low frequency vibrational pattern. In the case of 9-methoxyanthracene: methanol complexes, two different 1: 1 isomers corresponding to different sites of interactions have been evidenced.
