✦ Synopsis
Transient spectral holes have been burnt in the lowest optical transition of zinctetrabenzoporphyrine in polymethylmethacrylate. The recovery at the frequency of the hole center was found to be nonexponential. Spectral diffusion models were used to explain these findings and the temperature dependence of the observed effect.
