✦ Synopsis

The infrared and Raman spectra of the chiral unsymmetrical mdonor ethylenedioxy-S, S dimethylethylenedithio-tetrathiafulvalene (EDO-S, SDMEDT-lTF) are reported as well as the spectral (IR, UV-VIS-NIR absorption and reflectivity) and electrical properties of the r-(EDQ-S, SDMEDT-lTF),(AuBr,)(AuBrz)o,,5 salt. The IR spectra of the salt are of metal-like type and show normal IR-active vibrations of the donor molecule. Electronic bands are also investigated.
