A prototype of a parallel machine for the simulation of a two-dimensional Ising spin systems is described. To exploit the maximum possible parallelism there is a processor for each lattice site. A prototype machine with 12 processors has been built. Construction details and performances are given.

## Abstract In most of the past theoretical studies of the parallel processing of the loop, the discussion developed assuming that all execution times of the iterations are the same. Especially, the discussion is always developed under such an assumption for the doacross loop, which is the general
An on-board processor makes efficient use of the channel capacities in a satellite communications system employing multibeam technology, and an on-board processor has been developed for the Engineering Test Satellite VIII (ETS-VIII), which is the experimental satellite for a multibeam mobile satelli
This paper reports on the development of a micromachined parallel-plate tunable capacitor with a wide tuning range. Different from conventional two-parallel-plate tunable capacitors, this tunable capacitor consists of one suspended top plate and two fixed bottom plates. One fixed plate and the top p
