✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Sarcoma‐specific cellular cytotoxicity was inhibited by sera from 14/16 patients with growing sarcomas, in comparison to only 1/8 patients with growing carcinomas and 4/14 sarcoma‐free patients. Of 11 completely inhibitory sarcoma sera, only two inhibited lung carcinoma‐specific cellular cytotoxicity. The presence of serum inhibition of sarcoma‐specific cellular cytotoxicity antedated the development of metastatic sarcoma.
