✦ Synopsis

The newly discovered high-To superconductor A15 Nb3Si, with a lattice parameter of 5.091 ~, is shown to have an anomalously low Hoe of 12.5+ 0.5 T, a Ginzburg-Landau K of 16• and an implied resistivity of 354-5txS2-cm. The question of whether poor ordering due to the explosive compression preparation is responsible for this low Hc2 is discussed.
