✦ Synopsis

We present results of specific-heat measurements on several AnTX ðAn ¼ Np; Pu; T ¼ Co; Ni; Rh; Ir; X ¼ Al; GaÞ compounds with the hexagonal ZrNiAl-type structure. All the studied neptunium materials order antiferromagnetically with highest T N ¼ 42 K in NpIrAl. On contrary, the Pu-based isostructural materials do not show any phase transitions down to lowest achievable temperatures. The g coefficient of the electronic specific heat is moderately enhanced (g ' 1002200 mJK À2 mol À1 ).

The specific heats of rubber compounds are very important not only for the thermodynamic calculations in various rubber processings; mixing, extrusion, calendering, and vulcanization, etc., but also for the service life of the final products under repeated stressing conditions. In this study, the sp
