โฆ Synopsis
This special issue of Graphical Models, features selected papers from the International Conference of Shape Modeling held in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in Banff, Canada in May of 2002.
The conference has been gaining momentum since its launch in 1997 and has become the premier venue for the multi-disciplinary community concerned with computational techniques for modelling and processing digital representations of shapes and their properties.
The papers chosen for this special issue cover three problems involving triangular meshes; skinning, triangulation, and operators for manifold mesh modelers.
Our thanks to the authors, reviewers and chief editors for making this issue possible.
