## Abstract This study discusses the photosynthetic pathway types involved in canopy temperature measurements on a mixed grassland consisting of C~3~ and C~4~ plants (dominant species in biomass were __Solidago altissima__ (C~3~), __Miscanthus sinensis__ (C~4~), and __Imperata cylindrica__ (C~4~)).

β¦ Synopsis
The spatial and temporal variation of net radiation in canopies of oats, beans, sunflower and corn is discussed. Analyses showed highly asymmetrical distributions suggesting that the characterization of net radiation within a canopy by a mean value may be grossly inadequate.

The main objective of this study has been to test the theories describing the pathways and the processes generating runo from rainfall. A small forest catchment in south-eastern Norway has been used as a research area. The results of this study agree with previous work , suggesting that the response
The rate of sedimentation in Lake Kinneret was measured over several years by means of sediment traps, in up to seven different locations in the lake. Gross sedimentation rates measured in the sediment traps vary from about 1Γ5 kg m Γ2 a Γ1 in the deepest part of the lake up to 10 kg m Γ2 a Γ1 near
## Abstract The aim of this study is to improve our understanding of the temporal and spatial variations of soil water repellency, in particular those of agricultural lands where its economic and environmental impacts can be particularly severe. Variations in water repellency severity were studied
