## Abstract A digital elevation model (DEM) of a fluvial environment represented landform surface variability well and provided a medium for monitoring morphological change over time. Elevation was measured above an arbitrary datum using a groundβbased threeβdimensional tacheometric survey in two r

Abstract
This paper evaluates climate variability over Jordan by considering temporal and spatial variations on the basis of annual and seasonal meteorological variables including precipitation, relative humidity (RH), maximum and minimum temperatures over 30 years (1971β2000) at 16 representative observation stations over the whole country. The assessments are based on the statistical parameters such as the averages, coefficient of variation and skewness (SK). These parameters are mapped through the Kriging regional variability approach. Seasonal and annual parameter maps are presented and the climate variability interpretations are derived for the purpose of identifying climatologically homogenous precipitation regions. Climatic regions, temperature and humidity regimes, aridity and drought conditions in the country are determined, and the country is divided into three homogeneous precipitation regions. Previous experiments suggested that rats can learn to discriminate between adjacent arms of an eight-arm radial maze if they have an intact hippocampal system and are allowed to move around on the maze. These requirements are consistent with the hypothesis that this discrimination involves hippocamp
## Abstract Highβmagnitude floods across Europe within the last decade have resulted in the widespread reassessment of flood risk; this coupled with the introduction of the Water Framework Directive (2000) has increased the need for a detailed understanding of seasonal variability in flood magnitud
