## Abstract Nd–Fe–B based permanent magnets were prepared by both spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) and conventional sintering technique. Mechanical properties and microstructure of the magnets were investigated. Compared with conventional sintered magnet, SPS Nd–Fe–B magnet possesses better mechanical
