A point source acoustic calibrator for the simulation of the neutrino-generated bipolar signals in seawater is developed. This is achieved through hydrophone modelling using standard signal processing techniques. The method is experimentally confirmed for an omni-directional source.

The Universe at Ultra-High Energies (UHE) above E > 6 ร 10 19 eV is largely unexplored. In this paper we focus on the search for UHE neutrinos. After briefly summarizing the science rationale for neutrino studies at UHE, we describe the Extreme Universe Space Observatory (EUSO) onboard the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) of the International Space Station.
