An earlier article in this journal (Smith and Rockett, 1983) gave details of a survey of sources used by lecturers in agricultural education in their teaching. That article dealt with the unpublished sources used. This article, using the same sample of 268 single lectures given in 55 different agricultural colleges in the United Kingdom, concentrates on the published sources used.
