The associated macrofauna of four Aegean Sea sponge species (Apelas oroides, Petrosia ficiforrnis, lrcinia variahilis and Aplysina aerophoha) was compared. The total number of individuals and species was found to be related to sponge volume for all sponge species. The associated macrofaunal weight
