Source representations for the Debye potentials of the electromagnetic field of radiating charges and currents are given which are valid at any point of space. These lead to a direct determination of multipole expansions, valid outside the source distribution, for the Debye potentials, recently obtained by B o u w k a m p and C a s i m i r l ) by an alternative method.
