✦ Synopsis

The sorption and desorption behaviour of a chelating resin containing methylamino-glucitol groups was studied for the cyano complexes of copper, silver and gold. The complexes are even extracted from solutions with an excess of cyanide. Cyanoaurate is tightly bound by the resin, but for an efficient recovery of gold the resin must be destroyed.
