β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Hepatic artery aneurysms are rare vascular lesions sometimes found incidentally during abdominal imaging. We present the case of a 61βyearβold man whose initial symptoms were tenderness in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen and epigastric pain. Grayβscale sonography revealed ascites and an 8.1βcm mass in the region of the porta hepatis; color Doppler sonography revealed a turbulent arterial waveform with high peak systolic velocity. We diagnosed a giant aneurysm of the common hepatic artery. Threeβdimensional CT angiography confirmed this diagnosis and also revealed hemoperitoneum. The patient underwent aneurysmectomy and recovered well. This case shows that the use of both sonography and CT angiography offers a promising alternative to conventional angiography for the diagnosis of and treatment planning for hepatic artery aneurysms. ## Abstract Gastroepiploic artery aneurysm (GEAA) is very rare.1 Furthermore, most GEAA cases are diagnosed after their rupture. We report a case of asymptomatic GEAA. The patient was a 61βyearβold man. Sonography (US) revealed a 2βcm anechoic mass in the epigastrium near the anterior abdominal wal
Giant cutaneous hemangioma is a rare congenital anomaly that can cause dystocia due to its size.' We describe a case in which prenatal diagnosis of a giant hemangioma of the thigh, discovered by ultrasound examination during the 28th week, menstrual age (MA), was a useful indication that a cesarean
## Abstract Aneurysm of the internal jugular vein is an extremely rare condition. It is usually detected during childhood and is characterized by being more prominent during Valsalva maneuvers such as vomiting, coughing, and straining. Most of the cases reported in the English literature are fusifo
