Let G be a simple graph. The achromatic number ψ(G) is the largest number of colors possible in a proper vertex coloring of G in which each pair of colors is adjacent somewhere in G. For any positive integer m, let q(m) be the largest integer k such that ( k 2 ) ≤ m. We show that the problem of dete

81. Preliminaries and definitions
In this paper we prove a result about the relationship between measurable and definable cardinals and also a result on the spectrum of infinite cardinals. In a previous article [I], we introduced the notion of a definable cardinal. Definable cardinals are ones which do not posses a certain Lowenheim-Skolem type reflection property. I n [l]
we showed that the "small " infinite cardinals, K,, 2:, n €0, are all definable. Now we prove that ' ( large " measurable cardinals do indeed possess this reflection property, i.e. measurable cardinals are not definable.
L will denote a countable language. If the relation symbol P doesn't occur in L, we shall denote by L u (P) the obvious extension of L which includes P. Models for L will be denoted by the capital German letters a, 23.

## Abstract This Note announces two results on the genus of a group. First, there is exactly one group of genus two, thus answering a question of V. K. Proulx. Second, the genus of the full symmetric group of degree __n__ is __n__!/168 + 1, for all __n__ > 167.
This paper describes the use of gas chromatography mass spectrometry for the confirmation of ephedrine in adulterated powdered ipecac and ipecac fluid extract. Deuteration studies of ephedrine hydrochloride and some related compounds were also performed in an attempt to postdate structures for some
