In this paper, the asymptotic distribution of the two main estimators used in adaptive cluster sampling is studied. In particular, it is proved that under suitable conditions the Hรƒ ajek theorem can be applied for both estimators. Finally, these results are supported by simulation studies. Interval estimation and hypothesis testing are the main motivations for the following studies.
