✦ Synopsis

We give a model of the radical pair states in plant photosystem I and all the possible kinds of excitation transitions which occur between them. Our numerical modelling results in conclusions being made about the principal role of back recombination to explain new experimental results, namely biphasic time dependence of a delayed fluorescence.
