In the title structure, C 19 H 14 N 4 O 4 , there are two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The nitro groups are coplanar with the attached benzene rings. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO andinteractions.
