Tetrasulfur tetranitride

[9] and tetrasulfur tetraimide [lo] were prepared by standard methods. Electronic spectra were recorded using a Cary-14 recording spectrophotometer.

In most cases the solvent used was acetone. All materials used were of reagent grade.
