โœฆ Synopsis

This paper presents a novel method of obtaining the entire phase-portrait by the phase-plane ~-method. The inherent di.~culty in the existing isocline method due to the presence of quadratic and interacting functions in :~ and x is eliminated. The use of the phase-plane ~-method in the ~:-~ plane for the solution of non-linear systems is suggested. Error analysis shows that the ~-mdhod is more accurate than the existing ~-method.

The work was aimed at finding whether the ratio of delta-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) and creatinine (Cn) concentration (ALAICn), presently used in occupational health practice for evaluation of lead exposure gives a better assessment of ALA excretion than uncorrected ALA concentration itself, as well
