Abstrrsct-The carbonization process of type C mesocarbon microbeads was studied using X-ray diffraction (XD), XPS and PI-IR. The intensity of absorption continued from the visible to the IR region observed by FT-IR spectroscopy and increased with the heat treatment. A theory of amorphous semiconduct
