✦ Synopsis
Morphology evolution in ternary polymer solutions consisting of poly(methy1 methacrylate), poly(styrene-co-acryloni- trile) having different AN-contents and toluene was studied by optical microscopy and light scattering. The solutions subjected to different isothermal demixing conditions displayed regularly or irregularly phase separated structures. Effects of the AN-content ofthe SAN, the blending ratio and the annealing conditions on the arising morphologies are presented. A criterion for conservation of the periodic bicontinuous structure developed in the unmixing process can be established.

The phase behaviour of poly(styrene-co-methyl methacrylate) blended either with poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile) or poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride) was studied. The blends were found to be miscible in certain ranges of copolymer compositions. Light scattering and DSC measurements showed them to phas
## Abstract Nanocomposites of blends of PMMA and poly(styrene‐__co__‐acrylonitrile) (SAN) with natural (PM) or organically modified montmorillonite clays (Cloisite 30B, 25A, and 15A) were prepared by solution mixing and the effect of clay on the phase separation behavior along with morphologies of
## Abstract **Summary:** Small amplitude oscillatory shear rheology is employed to investigate the linear viscoelastic behavior of the LCST‐type PMMA/__α__‐MSAN polymer blends as a function of annealing temperature and time. The results reveal that when temperature approaches the separation tempera
