โœฆ Synopsis


This article shows the synthesis and modifications of the solvent-based removable pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) based on acrylates. This publication shows the influence of parameters such as amount and kind of multifunctional isocyanate crosslinkers, modification with ethoxylated amines, modification with polyalkylene oxides and UV-crosslinking on their removability (peel adhesion) on steel, glass, polyamide (PA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polypropylene (PP) during the ageing time. Removable and repositionable PSA based on acrylic polymers are used for production of removable memo notes, paper and foil labels, double-sided tapes, carrier-free tapes to protective films and manufacturing aids.
