โœฆ Synopsis

We study Dirichlet problem for a class of degenerate anisotropic nonlinear elliptic fourth order equations with L 1 -right-hand sides. Anisotropic and degenerate character of the equations under consideration is expressed by the presence in their coefficients of different exponents and weighted functions associated to the first and second order derivatives of unknown function. Under some hypotheses on the involved exponents and weighted functions we prove existence of so-called H , -solution and H-solution of the given problem.

The paper studies differential equations of the form u (x) = f (x, u(x), ฮป(x)), u(x0 ) = u0 , where the righthand side is merely measurable in x. In particular sufficient conditions for the continuous and the differentiable dependence of solution u on the data and on the parameter ฮป are stated.

## Abstract In [1]โ€“[6], the author posed and discussed the Tricomi problem of second order mixed equations, but he only consider some special mixed equations. This paper presents an iterative algorithm for solving non-symmetric systems of equations with multiple righthand sides. The algorithm is an extension of the Generalised Conjugate Residual method (GCR) and combines the advantages of a direct solver with those of an iterative solver: it does not have
