✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Vibrational relaxation studies in N,N‐dimethylacetamide revealed that the hydrodynamic and dispersion forces play a significant role in the line broadening of the CO stretching vibrational band. The non‐coincidence effect was also examined in the light of dielectric screening due to different environmental conditions.
