✦ Synopsis
A novel method is described for the numerical solution of a family of nonlinear boundary value problems. This algorithm allows one to find the dependence of the solution y(x, (r) on the parameter 0~. The technique proposed will be illustrated on the example of heat and mass transfer in porous catalyst and axial dispersion of heat and mass in a tubular reactor. The calculation of the dependence of y(x, a) on (Y is performed in a non-iterative way.
