✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Measurements of solubility parameters of a series of chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) (CPVC) samples were carried out. A maximum value of solubility parameter occurs at a chlorine content of 63–65% and is related to optimum packing.

In this work we investigate by means of dielectric relaxation spectroscopy how segmental motions occurring in poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) are modified by blending of PVC with small amounts of two different homopolymers: crystalline poly(β‘€-caprolactone) (PCL) and glassy syndiotactic poly(methylmethacr

The compatibility of epoxidized poly (cis-1,4-butadiene) (EPB) with chlorinated polyvinylchloride ( CPVC ) was investigated. Blends studied covered the complete composition range using EPB at two degrees of epoxidation: 20 and 43 mol % oxirane units. Tensile properties of EPB(63)/CPVC were also stud

## Abstract The influence of solid‐state chlorinated polyethylene of various chlorine content and residual crystallinity on the mechanical properties of rigid poly(vinyl chloride) has been studied. The impact strength of poly(vinyl chloride) was found to increase significantly as 10–20 mass% chlori
