The solubility of cementite in ferrite is known from several determinations. Now the solubility of graphite in ferrite has been determined by a computation.
The two solubility curves have been compared from a theoretical point of view. It is shown that the entropy of formation of the substance; with which the solution is in equilibrium, plays an important r6le in the absolute value of the solubility.

La solubilite de la cementite dans la ferrite est connue; elle a et4 determinee a plusieurs reprises. Cette fois la solubilite du graphite dans la cementite fut determinee mathematiquement.
Les deux courbes de solubilite furent comparees du point de vue theorique.

Die Loslichkeit von Graphit in Ferrit wurde im Folgenden rechnerisch bestimmt. Die beiden Lijslichkeitskurven wurden nach theoretischen Gesichtspunkten verglichen. Es wird gezeigt, ,dass die Bildungsentropie eines Stoffes, mit dem die Losung rm Gleichgewicht steht, eine wichtige Rolle im Absolutwert der Lijslichkeit spielt.
