We report the results of a combined experimental and theoretical investigation of the equilibrium interfacial properties of unsymmetrical bolaform surfactants that possess one ionic and one nonionic head group. By synthesizing the surfactant (11-hydroxyundecyl)trimethylammonium bromide (HTAB) and by
