Third title in the Stonewylde Series, picking up where the cliff-hanger in the last book left off. A terrifying opening at Halloween sets the pace, which gathers momentum as the Winter Solstice approaches. Sylvie is kept hostage whilst Yul plots Magus demise. A horrific climax, where five must die, ensures the reader is left spellbound.

The first three books in Kit Berry's Stonewylde Series were originally self-published, but have proved so successful that the rights to all five books have now been bought by Gollancz. The original editions are now unavailable, and Gollancz will publish new, revised editions of the three books in May, June and July of this year. These may be pre-ordered now in hardback collector's edition or paperback edition. The long-awaited fourth book in the series will be published in August of this year in hardback, and may also be pre-ordered. Kit Berry is currently working on the fifth and final book in the series.
