✦ Synopsis

Soliton-type solutions for the nonlinear wa¨e equation in Kerr-type nonlinear material with uniaxial chirality are presented. Bisoliton and quadrisoliton states of bright and dark soliton-type solutions are re¨ealed, respecti¨ely. The bright and dark solitons may propagate slower and r or faster than the speed of light tra¨eling in the corresponding linear isotropic material, depending on the degree of chirality.
