Titania-silica composite nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel-hydrothermal and sol-gel routes, respectively, and their physicochemical and photocatalytic properties were compared. The results of XRD, TEM and BET surface areas showed that sol-gelhydrothermal route led to anatase titania-silica comp
