The stability of lutein, a major xanthophyll, was investigated under various storage conditions. Continuous exposure of lutein-containing samples to cold white fluorescent light (4600 lux) at 25 "C resulted in the degradation of lutein at 0.8% -10.7% per day in the samples containing ascorbic acid,
## Abstract We investigate the behaviour of Bridgeland stability conditions under change of base field with particular focus on the case of finite Galois extensions. In particular, we prove that for a variety __X__ over a field __K__ and a finite Galois extension __L__/__K__ the stability manifold
## Abstract Starch was converted into glucose by hydrolysis with water under hydrothermal conditions at 453β513 K in a small batch reactor. The major product was glucose; oligomers having various degrees of polymerization, maltose, fructose, 5βhydroxymethylfurfural and furfural were also produced.
